(&#8230;) Librettist Alexander Jansen verzichtet auf eine klare Handlung und l\u00e4sst Alices Reise eher wie ein Traum ablaufen. (&#8230;) Aber am Freiburger Theater (Kleines Haus) schaffen es Regisseur J\u00f6rg Behr und sein Ausstatter Marc Weeger (&#8230;) trotzdem, zwischen Karussell und \u00fcberdimensionierter Sanduhr eine Geschichte vom Erwachsenwerden zu erz\u00e4hlen (&#8230;) Die Sopranistin Irina Jae Eun Park ist in ihrem blauen M\u00e4dchenkost\u00fcm eine zarte Alice, die mit einer sehr beweglichen Stimme und klarer Diktion die Titelfigur zum Leben erweckt. Julienne Mbodj\u00e9 und John Carpenter reichern dieses Wunderland mit skurrilen Gestalten an. (&#8230;) Anno Schreier (&#8230;) variiert auch die Besetzung (musikalische Leitung: Daniel Carter). Da k\u00f6nnen auch mal ausschlie\u00dflich Schl\u00e4ge auf der Conga (Tilmann Collmer) eine Szene pr\u00e4gen wie bei Dideldum und Dideldei. Die Gedanken der bekifften Raupe werden mit den wie improvisiert klingenden Girlanden der Klarinette (Sonja Villforth) in Szene gesetzt. Beim Lied des Zimmermanns spielt S\u00e4nger John Carpenter sogar selbst die Ukulele. Alice l\u00e4sst sich vom Saal der verschlossenen T\u00fcren bis zur Grinsekatze treiben, die Julienne Mbodj\u00e9 mit geschmeidigen Bewegungen und feinem Legato zu einem echten H\u00f6hepunkt werden l\u00e4sst. Anno Schreiers Songzyklus &#8222;Wunderland&#8220; auf der Basis von Lewis Carrolls Kinderbuch-Klassiker hatte jetzt im Kleinen Haus des Freiburger Theaters Premiere. Alice \u2013 das M\u00e4dchen zwischen M\u00e4rchen und Realit\u00e4t, sprich: den Usancen des Erwachsenseins.(&#8230;) Eine Identit\u00e4tsfindung in 16 Stationen, zu denen Schreier (&#8230;) eine h\u00f6chst anregende Musik geschaffen hat&#8230; Alice als Suchende, manchmal auch als fast schon Getriebene, die Stress bekommt. Irina Jae Eun Park im hellblauen Kleid der b\u00fcrgerlichen Wohlanst\u00e4ndigkeit gibt ihrer Partie sch\u00f6ne Sopranlyrik. Beweglich und nicht nur im Outfit versiert zeigen sich die Mezzosopranistin Julienne Mbodj\u00e9 und der Bariton John Carpenter. (&#8230;) Abwechslung ist angesagt. Mit leichter Hand kultiviert Schreier den Stilmix und die offene Form, die sich dann in der Summe der Songs runden und bestens zu einer Gesamtheit f\u00fcgen.<\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Zum Erfolg des Unternehmens tr\u00e4gt J\u00f6rg Behrs Regie bei, indem sie die Musik visuell st\u00fctzt und bisweilen \u00fcberhaupt erst den M\u00e4rchencharakter kreiert. Wo Skurriles und Absurdes nah und Tugenden (wie &#8222;Ich komme nie zu sp\u00e4t&#8220;) oder Kulinarisches (dass die Suppe mundet) der Erw\u00e4hnung wert sind. Rollen- und Kost\u00fcmtausch (Ausstattung: Marc Weeger) funktionieren wie am Schn\u00fcrchen. Aller R\u00e4tsel L\u00f6sung ist eben die Fantasie. Die sollten wir uns daher bewahren. (&#8230;)<\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Im Ernst: Alice durchl\u00e4uft einen Reifungsprozess. Ein bisschen (B\u00fchnen-)Action geh\u00f6rt dazu. In der musikalischen Adaption hat Carroll noch zus\u00e4tzlich gewonnen. Unter anderem durch die Verdichtung.
