Februar 2022, gewesen &#8211; wie Eva-Maria Pollerus, die Musikalische Leiterin von SERSE und Leiterin des Instituts f\u00fcr Historische Auff\u00fchrungspraxis in der &#8222;Frankfurter Schule&#8220;, der HfMDK Frankfurt &#8211; hinterher so treffend sagte: Wir konnten beide SERSE Premieren vor Publikum auff\u00fchren. Da waren bei der Kooperation der HIP mit der Gesangsabteilung alle an Bord, was derzeit angesichts der aktuellen Corona-Inzidenzen keine Selbstverst\u00e4ndlichkeit ist. Die dritte Vorstellung musste dann auch prompt ausfallen. Mit ihm sind auf diesem Feldzug: Sein Bruder <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Arsamene<\/strong><\/span> und sein Geheimdienstadmiral <strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Elviro <\/span><\/strong>mit dessen zwei attraktiven T\u00f6chtern <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Romilda <\/strong><\/span>und <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>Atalanta<\/strong><\/span>. <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Romilda<\/span><span style=\"color: #808080;\"> ist aktuell die Geliebte seines Bruders <\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Arsamene<\/span> <span style=\"color: #808080;\">\u2013 und ihre j\u00fcngere Schwester <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Atalanta<\/span> w\u00e4re ihrerseits gerne genau das an Stelle ihrer Schwester. F\u00fcr alle Untertanen gilt zuallererst: Nur wenn es <span style=\"color: #000000;\">K\u00f6nig Serse<\/span> gutgeht, geht es dem Staat Persien gut, selbst wenn das dem eigenen Gl\u00fcck entgegensteht. <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Serse<\/span> widerum hadert mit der Einsamkeit des Machthabers. <\/span><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Die Oper beginnt mit der gro\u00dfen Sehnsucht des K\u00f6nigs, geborgen zu sein und allein um seiner selbst willen geliebt zu werden. Beim bekannten Largo (eigentlich einem Larghetto) helfen dem Herrscher die Bl\u00e4tter eines Baumes &#8211; einer Platane &#8211; dass er sich in eine andere Welt tr\u00e4umt. Die Frau, deren Stimme der K\u00f6nig w\u00e4hrend dieses Traums h\u00f6rt, verhei\u00dft ihm eine bisher so nicht erlebte Form von Freiheit und Liebe. Deswegen soll diese Frau ab sofort seine Geliebte werden. Dass es sich dabei um <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Romilda,<\/span> die Geliebte seines Bruders handelt, ist <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Serse<\/span> gleichg\u00fcltig: Denn schlie\u00dflich hat jeder dem Wohlbefinden des K\u00f6nigs alles andere unterzuordnen. Zuletzt taucht noch <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Serses&#8216;<\/span> zuvor versto\u00dfene Braut<strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"> Amastre <\/span><\/strong>auf; sie tarnt sich als persischer Soldat.
