J\u00f6rg Behr unterstreicht in seiner Inszenierung f\u00fcr die Osterfestspiele die zynischen Z\u00fcge des Textes. So richtig sympathisch sind sie alle nicht, die Menschen um den alten Bonafede. Der keineswegs steinalt ist, sondern innerlich versteinert nach dem Verlust seiner Frau. Patrick Zielke erweist sich in dieser Rolle als hervorragender Darsteller, der Bonafedes abweisende, verbitterte Haltung \u00fcberzeugend vermittelt. Sein metallisch gl\u00e4nzender Bass hat ausreichend Wucht, um das auch stimmlich deutlich zu machen. Zielke schafft es, Bonafedes vermeintlichen Ausflug auf den Mond als eine L\u00f6sung aus der inneren Erstarrung zu zeigen.<\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Leider geht es den anderen nicht um eine Therapie, sondern darum, ihre W\u00fcnsche durchzusetzen. Bonafedes Tochter Clarice will weg und heiraten, unbedingt. Victoria Kunze legt den fast schon verzweifelten Willen der Tochter in jede ihrer souver\u00e4n gesungenen Koloraturen. Ihr Verehrer Ecclitico ist mindestens ebenso hinter ihrer Mitgift her wie hinter Clarice selbst. Moritz Kallenberg verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber einen geschmeidigen Tenor und beherrscht die Balance, sowohl Eccliticos Durchtriebenheit wie dessen Zuneigung zu Clarice deutlich zu machen.<\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Das Personal ist auch nicht ohne. Diener Cecco will Kollegin Lisetta heiraten. Startkapital will er auch. Aber erst einmal muss er Ecclitico Geld geben, damit der Bonafede einen Schlaftrunk verabreicht und eine k\u00fcnstliche Mondwelt bastelt. Nikolaus Pfannkuch zeigt, wie Cecco in seiner Rolle als Mondkaiser endlich mal richtig aufdrehen kann.<\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Seine Lisetta allerdings treibt gegen Bares gern erotische Spielchen mit ihrem Chef Bonafede. Joyce de Sousa l\u00e4sst in ihrem dunkel timbrierten Mezzosopran anklingen, dass Lisetta diese Spielchen sogar Spa\u00df machen.<\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Die urspr\u00fcnglichen Nebenrollen wurden gestrichen und durch Birgit B\u00fccker ersetzt, die mit ihrer wunderbaren Sprechstimme Bonafedes Frau beziehungsweise die Erinnerung an sie gibt. Auf diese Weise erh\u00e4lt das St\u00fcck eine reizvolle Nachdenklichkeit.<\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Auch der Schluss wird so glaubhafter. Denn auf Bonafedes kindliche Begeisterung f\u00fcr die vermeintlich bessere Mondwelt folgt nat\u00fcrlich das b\u00f6se Erwachen. Er ist zu tief verletzt, um den Betrug einfach mit einem Glas Sekt herunter zu sp\u00fclen. Da muss schon die Stimme der Erinnerung zu ihm sprechen, damit es doch noch eine Vers\u00f6hnung gibt. Verspielt versammeln sich um den alterssturen Bonafede, der Zigaretten rauchend wie ein fetter Buddha auf einer wei\u00df \u00fcberzogenen Chaise hockt, seine Tochter Clarice, deren Galan Ecclitico sowie das ebenfalls verliebte Diener-Paar Lisetta und Cecco.<\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Bonafedes abhanden gekommene (verstorbene?) Frau tritt als schwarz verschleiertes Geisterwesen, als sein schlechtes Gewissen auf und ist Erz\u00e4hlerin gleicherma\u00dfen. Anr\u00fchrend und geheimnisvoll gibt Birgit B\u00fccker die Sprechrollen-Figur und gleich zu Beginn auch Bonafedes Seelenzustand preis: \u201eEr betrachtet die Scherben seines Ehelebens\u201c. Die Astrologie, der Blick auf n\u00e4chtlich gl\u00e4nzende Gestirne bleibt sein einziges Vergn\u00fcgen. Das machen sich beide Liebespaare zunutze, denen Bonafedes Heiratsverbote und Geiz im Wege stehen. Mit Hilfe eines verabreichten Zaubertranks gaukeln sie dem Alten eine gemeinsame Reise zum Silbermond vor und zelebrieren einen Mummenschanz mit tanzenden Nymphen beim Mond-Kaiser auf einer schr\u00e4g zur B\u00fchnenrampe gekippten Mondlandschaftsscheibe (Ausstattung Marc Weeger).<\/h6>\n<h6 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Bald preist Bonafede in Trance sein \u201eunfassbares Gl\u00fcck\u201c in der Welt des Mondes, willigt in die Heiraten der M\u00e4dchen ein und schenkt ihnen, nachdem sich (in die Realit\u00e4t zur\u00fcckversetzt) seine Wut \u00fcber das R\u00e4nkespiel gelegt hat, am Ende sogar sein Verm\u00f6gen.
